Our Story

TrackGirlz is a 501c3 nonprofit organization helping girls reach their full potential through track and field. Our mission is to provide girls in underserved communities access to track and field, a sport proven to have health, academic, and social benefits for girls. Our programs include grants for girls to participate in track and field in their local communities, while encouraging movement and sport participation. Our Empowerment Workshopz provide high quality educational resources and mentorship from women in the TrackGirlz community, including Olympians, elite coaches, and industry leaders.

According to research conducted by the Women’s Sports Foundation, by the age of 14, girls drop out of sports twice as often as boys for factors such as social stigma, lack of access, safety and transportation issues, costs, and lack of positive role models. We aim to bridge this gap with our programs.

TrackGirlz Launches their Track & Field Girls Empowerment Curriculum to be implemented by third-parties.

TrackGirlz partners with World Athletics Oregon 22 to provide track and field programming for their Making Tracks Youth Engagement Program.
