TrackGirlz is hiring student interns! We’re looking for college or high school students who are passionate about our mission and excited to be a part of a fast growing nonprofit empowering girls through track and field. OVERVIEW

  • Time Commitment: 5 – 10 hours per week (6 month commitment for spring semester, 3 month commitment for summer semester)
  • Term Length: February 2022 – July 2022 (Spring) June 2022 – August 2022 (Summer)
  • Compensation: Unpaid
  • Class credit: High School or College credit is recommended for the internship. We are willing to fill out all the needed paperwork to ensure that class credit is awarded for the work you contribute to TrackGirlz

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help create and assemble digital content for TrackGirlz. This may include: researching creative content that will engage our users in social media platforms such as Instagram TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Help create and manage TrackGirlz newsletter and e-marketing projects
  • Assist in project management of programs, including grants, workshops, events, and fundraising planning
  • Reach out to athletes ranging from college to Olympic athletes to gauge their participation in our content programs, such as TrackGirlz Live interviews and workshop guest appearances
  • Strategize and brainstorm for community engagement with TrackGirlz participants
  • Photo editing and video editing
  • Weekly content meeting with TrackGirlz team

QUALITIFICATIONS

  • Personal experience/strong knowledge base of the track and field community is a plus
  • Have a strong desire to support the TrackGirlz mission and vision
